My 2year olds most prized possession

About Me

Comments:

My son received his Yamaha strider for Christmas when he was 10 months old. By the time he turned two he was riding with his feet up and has loads of self confidence and control. He also has the snow ski's for his wheels and enjoyed them this past winter. Riding comes second nature to him and I feel all kids should own a strider!

Incredible Bike

About Me

Comments:

My 4 year old is riding a pedal bike and the best part is I didn't have to do any teaching to make it happen. Her Strider did all the teaching for me. She was so confident with her balance from her Strider, it only took a few minutes of getting used to the pedal bike and she was off. Can't say enough good things about Strider Bikes.

About Me

Comments:

We got this bike when my grandson was 1 1/2. He is now 3 1/2 and prefers this bike over his pedal bike. He has better coordination and balance than any 3 year old. He now races on a bmx track and does outstanding! He also rides a PW 50 and a TTR 50. His Dad rides on the back, but he does all the steering and gas. This bike has taught him to balance and love to ride. He absolutely loves this bike and takes it every where with him! In this picture he has on his Strider jeans. The pads in them are a bonus that make him feel like he is in riding gear like his Dad.

Best gift ever received!

About Me

Comments:

My son received his Strider for his 1st birthday. We didn't put it together until he was 15 months. At first he would just sit on it each day and I would pull the bike around the house. Around 18 months he began to walk with it straddled between his legs and by 20 months he was striding. We worked with him and the bike every day (no kidding), but it was never forced, my son was so eager to play with his Strider from the day we opened it. Now he's 2 and we ride on average 3 miles a day. Great form of exercise for both child (and adult). We are so grateful for his Strider.

One of the best purchases you can make for a kid

About Me

Comments:

Both of my daughters loved their Strider and were on a pedal bike by the time they were three years old. It took longer to find a pedal bike small enough for them than it did for them to learn to pedal. Striders are among the most light weight balance bikes on the market, which is an important factor to you little one. If you're on the fence about getting one, I hope this review convinces you to make the investment! They also have great resale value once your child is on to the next level.

Best Bike!

About Me

Comments:

When I first bought a strider bike for my daughter back in 2007, I thought it was crazy to buy such an expensive toy. I finally caved after talking to several moms who said they were the best! I am so glad that I listened. Both my kids have grown up with STRIDERS. My daughter got her strider when she was 2 and my son (who is 8 years younger than my daughter) starting riding his as he started to walk near his first birthday. My daughter used her STRIDER nonstop for 3 years and transitioned to a peddle bike in under 5 minutes with no training wheels. I remember learning to ride a bike was so stressful. My daughter never had to deal with that. When my son was born, we put it on our BABY REGISTRY because we knew how much my daughter loved her bike. Honestly most of the things I buy my kids are used sparingly. If I listed all of the items I have purchased my children (FROM BIRTH), the only thing they have used more than their STRIDER bikes is their bed - and that is debatable given how much they are on these bikes. My daughter used her strider bike solidly everyday for 3+ years. My son uses his daily! Part of the reason we got so much use out of them, is that I allowed them to use them both indoors and out. If you plan to really really use them outside I almost would recommend getting two - one for indoor use and one for outdoor use. We live in Chicago, and with the cold winters we just let them roll around inside on them. I honestly would recommend these bikes to anyone! They are light, but VERY sturdy. I never write reviews, but a good product deserves praise!
